What do you think are the current challenges in the IT Industry these days?
To my mind, Digital transformation is our latest disrupter. IT companies need now more than ever to lead technology and provide a sustained competitive advantage. This is a real challenge for many tech companies, cause they need to adapt their skills and expertise to capture market opportunities.

Do you think that diversity and gender equality are already a reality? if not, what do you think should be changed?
One of the major achievements here in Spain is the improvement of women workers' rights and gender equality. Of course, there are still many women that put ‘on-hold’ their careers when they start having families.  Official statistics also state that only between 20 and 25 of women hold management positions in Spain. On the other hand, diversity and gender equality are more than just try to balance up the figures. We will see real changes only when we start to work on real inclusion, beginning from education. Just by balancing gender, age or nationalities you don’t automatically get inclusion.

When you face challenges, what encourages you?
Believing in my team and myself, during challenges is where the team spirit is powerfully emerging, being this one of the most powerful motivators to overcome any barrier. Keeping a positive spirit, seeing the glass half full rather than half empty.

Who is your role model? Who inspires you?
Those are Wonder Women, Superheroes with Superpowers, Powerful independent women who never give up no matter what challenges they face. For me,  Marie Curie is one of the most relevant scientists in history. Despite all the challenges and prejudices that she faced, she persevered and continued her investigations even with the risk for her health. By the end, her passion was recognized with the two Novel prices!
